Historic Properties: Individual

The Historic Preservation Act of 1966 established the National Register of Historic Places (U.S. National Park Service). This list of approved historical properties identifies and celebrates properties that meet standards of historical integrity and are at least fifty years old.

Many properties are listed individually but may have also become part of a historic district at a later time. Vermillion's individually-listed properties, their summary characteristics, and links to their National Register nomination texts are listed below. The historical integrity of individually-listed properties is based on interior and exterior criteria.
